HGTV Unveils Premiere Date for New ‘Home Town’ Episodes

HGTV not only unveiled the exciting news about Ben and Erin’s upcoming one-off special but also disclosed the premiere date for a fresh set of episodes from “Home Town.” The second part of Season Seven is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at 8 p.m. Eastern.

In the inaugural episode of this batch, viewers will witness Ben, recuperating from shoulder surgery, enlisting the help of friends Jim Rasberry and Josh Nowell as Erin endeavors to discover the ideal home for a family of six from Canada.

The dynamic couple wrapped up filming for their seventh season just last month, as Erin confirmed in an Instagram post on October 24.

With season seven in the rearview mirror, the Napiers wasted no time transitioning to season eight. Erin marked the occasion with an Instagram post on October 27, captioned “say hello season 8, wave goodbye season 7.” The post featured a group photo of her and Ben alongside their crew, posing proudly in front of a prominent “Welcome to Laurel, Mississippi” sign.

“Thank goodness because I just ran out of episodes to watch! 😂 ❤️” one user wrote.

“And I’m here for it! Learned so much about southern ways and hospitality from watching this show beyond the lovely home designs and sublime craftsmanship of Scotsman & co … would love to visit what seems like the friendliest town ever … love from way up here 🇨🇦,” chimed in a third fan from Canada.

“Y’all are a miracle-working team that’s for sure….!!!! 💛 💛 💛 💛 🥰 🤩,” shared a fourth enthusiastic user.

The festive spirit extends beyond the “Home Town Holidays” special for the Napiers as Erin revealed in a November 3 update. The couple’s candle emporium, Laurel Mercantile Scent Library, is introducing a special collaboration in conjunction with the Salvation Army.

Named “Season of Hope,” the candle is presented in a red container reminiscent of the iconic Salvation Army collection buckets. According to Erin’s announcement, the scent is a delightful blend of zingy navel orange and spicy clove, evoking the magical essence of childhood Christmases.

For those eager to capture the essence of the season, the “Season of Hope” candle is available at the Scent Library in Laurel, select Dillard’s stores nationwide, and can be conveniently purchased on the Laurel Mercantile online shop.
