Misty Raney’s Weight Loss Shocking Transformation: Fans Think She’s Pregnant

The Discovery show Homestead Rescue follows a wonderful premise whereby we see the Raney family helping out struggling homesteaders after success of their own. It is composed of the father, son, and daughter trio of Marty, Matt, and Misty Raney. Among them, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding the daughter, Misty Raney.

Many people were searching about her weight loss, illness, and pregnancy.It seems that they had noticed a bit of a transformation in Misty’s appearance whereby she was putting on a bit of a weight. So, fans naturally got worried. It could’ve been her gaining weight normally but fans feared the worst and thought of the most drastic circumstance.

Could any of them be true though? Let us research everyone just out be sure. Firstly, let us talk about whether Misty Raney is ill or struggling with some kind of illness. The answer if we had to give one would be now as there certainly hasn’t been anything she mentioned.

As far as we know, she does not struggle with an illness of any kind and fortunately also hasn’t been sick recently which could cause her apparent weight gain.

However, we see why people will be worried as rapid weight gain could be the symptoms of many serious diseases like thyroid, Cushing’s syndrome, Polycystic ovary syndrome, and many more.

So, they can rest easy on that possibility. So, could Misty be pregnant then? Misty is already a mother to one child. She has a son named Gauge born in 2011 with her longtime surfer and car-painter husband, Maciah Bilodeau since 2000. Her husband is from Hawaii where they spend their winter and colder years while returning back to Alaska to film for the series and live in for the rest.

No, she is not pregnant with another child. As far as we know, she isn’t even interested in having any more children as of now. Since this is the most infamous rumor related to her, it seems it reached the ears of Misty who responded to it.

In a 2019 interview, she revealed that her weight gain was perfectly normal and in fact just her body needs to deal with the gruelling weather of Alaska where she films and lives for around half of the year. “It’s normal for people who live off the land to put on some pounds,” she responded. “You’re working hard and your body needs fuel.” However, she still joked about how after the weight gain she thought she got pregnant again. Perhaps, her little joke is how her pregnancy rumors started in the first place.

They have been around for a while and since the interview was in 2019 around the time it was first seen online, it’s possible. So, no Misty is neither pregnant nor sick. Furthermore, her weight gain is not that drastic to the point we would even call it a transformation.
