Joanna Steven Gaines is an HGTV personality on fixer Upper. But before getting into the mainstream television industry, she had earned a degree in communications from Baylor University before heading to New York as an intern where she entered into the world of design and later opened her boutique in 2003.

She then worked with Sarah Richardson as an HGTV lifestyle. Starring alongside her husband Chip Gaines in her show “Fixer-upper” She quickly gained fame and became an all-around sensation.  Her show deals with the complete makeover of an old, shaggy house into a gem, by using the construction techniques and ideas by cashing in the experience from her remodeling and design business ‘Magnolia Homes.’

Joanna Gaines graduated from Baylor University. It is said that her husband also attended the same university, but they never met there. Chip is said to have had fallen in love with her as soon as he saw her photo in the automobile shop owned by her father. After his car suffered a technical failure, Chip ramped into Joanna’s father’s automobile shop nearby.

He met Joanna there, and the couple soon fell in love, and Joanna became his girlfriend. Soon enough, their passion translated into marriage in 2003 and recently into the opportunity to host and run a show together and rise to the heights of fame. They renovated their first house, The one they still live in, for their honeymoon after getting married.

Gaines was also charged with a fraud lawsuit along with her husband who is also the co-host of Fixer Upper,  Chip Gaines recently in May 2017. She was even rumored to be leaving the show.

In between filming for Fixer Upper and her leisure time, Joanna Gains enjoys a simple life. She spends time cooking traditional family recipes in her kitchen. Spending time with her kids is a prominent favorite of hers! Her net worth is $8 million.
