Did you know Magnolia Network and HGTV are both cable networks owned by Warner Bros? Well, It’s true, and, many of the network’s fans are still unaware of this. Thus, this caused much controversy among people about their favorite network. Is it Magnolia Network or HGTV? Let’s find that out!

HGTV is an American pay television channel owned by Warner Bros, whereas Magnolia network is a cable network that Warner Bros, Discovery, Chip and Joanna Gaines own.

Both networks are siblings, and both channels focus on home improvement, design ideas for renovation projects, etc. If you check out the channels, you will find shows about remodeling rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms and learning inspiring DIY skills in both of them.

But, lately, despite being siblings of the same production, the discussion about which one of them is the fan’s favorite network has attracted not only the network’s loyal fans but also people worldwide.

Fan’s Favorite Network: The Magnolia Network or HGTV

Though coming from the same production house, the initial use of HGTV and Magnolia network can be considered opposite.

But, despite having some major similarities on a macroscopic level, when you dig deeper and become a daily viewer of the channel, you will notice some prominent differences between the two famous networks.

However, the Magnolia Network is like you are seeing through the life of Chip and Joanna Gaines, how they are tackling every problem related to the reformation of the rooms and all. The Network’s main shows include Home Work, The Lost Kitchen, and Fixer Upper: Welcome Home. These shows offer some of the best quality and authentic content on television.

Though selecting which one of the channels is a fan’s favorite depends on their taste. HGTV might be for someone who wants variety in their watch while sharing the essence or motto of home improvement. Whereas, the Magnolia network might be for people who wish to have a cozy Sunday morning, sitting on their couch, watching Chip and Joanna renovating the house.

Thus, both networks successfully carve some unique spaces in the world of home renovation. However, a survey done in a subreddit revealed some interesting insights about the take of fans on choosing their favorite network.

When asked about this, people revealed how they liked the diversity HGTV offered and the modernism they bring to the shows. On the other hand, Magnolia fans said they preferred this network better for its emphasis on craftsmanship in general, despite having a limited number of series.

While some criticized both shows, others openly appreciated the network for its differences. Despite all this, as both shows are paid subscriptions, it is not shocking to see how the number of people subscribing to the networks is increasing daily.
