Jenny, who resides on a vibrant farm teeming with animals, bountiful blueberry bushes, and a flourishing garden, emphasizes the pivotal role sustainability plays in their daily lives.

She candidly shared her insights with Heavy, acknowledging that sustainability can sometimes appear daunting to many individuals. However, she is quick to highlight that incorporating sustainable practices doesn’t always necessitate sweeping lifestyle changes or major sacrifices.

In her own words, Jenny explains, “You don’t have to uproot your life and move to a farm to embrace sustainability. It’s about making conscious choices right where you are, in your everyday life.

These are often principles we’ve heard throughout our lives, like turning off lights when leaving a room or being mindful of water usage. It’s those seemingly small decisions we make day in and day out that truly add up. I believe that’s the essence of the ‘Sustainability Series’—to show people that their choices can make a meaningful impact.”

Jenny’s perspective offers a reassuring reminder that sustainable living is accessible and achievable for everyone, regardless of their circumstances. It’s about recognizing the cumulative effect of seemingly minor choices and understanding that collective efforts can bring about significant positive change.

The ‘Sustainability Series’ Begins on HGTV on October 9

Daikin has unveiled exciting details about the upcoming six-part miniseries set to grace HGTV’s screens starting on Monday, October 9. Unlike the typical binge-worthy release schedule, this series will unfold gradually over several months, culminating in February 2024.

The “Sustainability Series” promises to be an immersive journey, traversing various corners of the United States. From Jenny and Dave’s own home state of Arkansas to the bustling city of Washington DC and the scenic landscapes of Colorado, the series will offer viewers a diverse range of locations and sustainability stories to explore.

Its grand finale will transport audiences to the enchanting city of Florence, Italy, in what is bound to be a captivating conclusion.

While this sustainability-focused series may not showcase the familiar home renovation projects that have become synonymous with the Marrses’ HGTV ventures, fans can rest assured that the dynamic duo’s regular program will make a triumphant return in early 2024. Both “Fixer to Fabulous” and its “Italiano” spinoff are slated to premiere in the new year. In the meantime, viewers can catch up on past episodes of the show, conveniently available for streaming on Max and Discovery+.
