They followed it up with the writing on the wall, an album that went platinum and featured some of their most renowned songs.  Her acting career took off in 2002 when she got a recurring role in the hit television show, “The Hughleys.”

It was around this time that she also released her first solo album, Simply Deep. While not as successful as the work she had done with destiny’s child, it showed her that she could venture off on her own when the time was right.
