Christina Hall, who hosts Christina in the Country on HGTV, and her husband Josh Hall are pleased with the remodeling of their Californian property is finally complete, which they bought in 2022.
On 12 July 2023, the official Facebook page of HGTV posted a full home tour video of the Hall couple’s luxurious $12 million property located in Newport Beach, California.

Living Room
The Hall couple has renovated their living space into a new open plan. They have fitted multiple remotes and switches on the wall to light up their living space, which Josh stated, “I sometimes can’t get it right.”
“This is a smart home. Uh, apparently I’m not that smart because I struggle with a few things on this house and when one thing goes down it all goes down.” He further added, “We’ve been locked out of our house in a power outage because we didn’t have keys when we bought the house every day choose the keypad so smart houses aren’t always the best answer.”
Christina explained that they are attempting to take a supermodel house and incorporate more organic aspects, which offers a kind of Bali feel.
She said, “We’re basically trying to take a supermodel house and incorporate more of organic get it kind of like Bali vibes. That was our sort of original plan and I think we’re heading in that direction.”
Kitchen
After the recent makeover, Christina’s kitchen looks completely different; however, it is still in the progress of renovation. She has built a new center island to fill the area of the kitchen.
The 40-year-old real estate investor has placed an extra-big size dining table, which she referred to as “her signature designs of Island.”
She claimed, “I’d love to do it in any house I can. It is a really big island and this is probably one of the biggest that we’ve ever done.” On the other hand, Josh remarked, “It’s no longer an island, It’s a continent.”
Similarly, the TV star revealed that the dining table was intentionally made extra big as their family-of-five have pretty much all of their meals there.
She also explained, “Under this roof alone you know there’s five of us but when we have people over this will sit six people comfortably. The kids can do their homework.”
Talking about Christina’s concept for the Island, her husband opened that, “She ordered the stools or the bar stools before we even had the island and she insisted on having six. She had them ordered from Bali. She wanted her vibe. We pretty much built this Island around the six Port stools.”
The Garden
Christina has set up a 60-foot-long automatic slider between their indoor space and the backyard, which lowers down to around six feet on each side. Her home has an incredibly big backyard where kids could play out and have fun.
Around the corner of their garden, she has set up a sauna area. Their wooden sauna was made by Josh from tools that his wife got online.
Christina said, “I get a lot of my inspiration from hotels because they’re always up with the trends. (This particular one) had an amazing spa with a sauna-ice bath vibe. We were doing that every day there and felt so good, so we thought why not recreate it at home?”
The TV host has a Happy Hop Shark Cave Adventure in her backyard that she bought for her kids. In April, she disclosed on Instagram that when she visited her local Costco to buy food for her fur babies, she discovered the water slide while walking out of the store. Per Hello Magazine, the slide is priced at $419.99 in retail shops.
Earlier, Christina had posted an IG video where her three children i.e. daughter Taylor (twelve) — her sons Brayden (seven) and Hudson (three) – could be spotted in their swimsuits when the slide was filled with water.
Bar Area
The couple also has a bar area in the corner of their living room. The HGTV star mentioned: “We’re out in this bar area over here and this is going to be super cool when it’s done.”
In their bar area, they have put up a navy blue color aesthetic cabinet and decorated it with some bottles of wine, glasses, and ceramic bowls.
On 29 June 2023, Christina posted a sneak peek of the space on Instagram, mentioning “this huge transformation coming on your way in an All-New episode of Christina on The Coast.”
Home Theater
In their home, the Hall pair also has a movie theater with lush leather chairs, a large projector screen, and wonderful ceiling lights (that look like shooting stars).
The mother of three went on to say, “This is a room that the kids love as well. The kids love to make little forts down here when we have a movie night. And, the dogs of course have their dog beds too but it’s just so comfy and so quiet in here.”
Office Space
Christina and Josh have designed their peaceful office room quite colorful, mostly in a blue theme. This space of their home features some natural plants including an olive tree, a painting from one of Christina’s wizard friends, her favorite crystals, and angel wing amethyst.
Josh’s Garage
Josh has a collection of his favorite automobiles in his garage, interestingly his dad’s vintage car, a red dirt bike (that has his childhood to teenage memories), and his grandma’s photograph.
Mr. Hall, who was an ex-police officer, has an old police locker in his space. During their home tour, he also showed his original police uniform. He has decorated his garage with his son’s creative artwork. Additionally, it has a chic lounging area and a garage door that accesses the outdoor area.
Kids Desk area
Upstairs, they have a cozy kid’s desk room. They have placed a big television in their white-colored cupboard. Christina has also placed some framed pictures of her parents and her grandparents on it.
Daughter Taylor Room
The couple did a tour of their daughter’s room which looks neat and clean with a neutral color code. It has a Chevron design on her back wall and her name is written with big trendy cursive lettering. It also has a desk area with a properly managed collection of photos, a swing chair, and a tall plant in the corner.
A Shared Bedroom Of Brayden And Hudson
Upon entering Christina’s sons’ room, there is a signboard that suggests, “Long Live Boyhood.” It is chic with a black painted feature wall and oakwood floors. It has two twin beds for the brothers with matching white, blue, and gray checked sheets.
Josh commented, “This is where they wrestle, this is where they act like boys, they bring stuff we have to put it back together.” He continued, “A little fun fact every morning, the kids actually wake up and make their own beds.”
The Hall Couple Bed Room
At last, they did a tour of their bedroom. The wall on their bed’s back is painted black, creating a morainic Ally effect. They have an open space with live plants, little seating areas, fire features, and a projector.
They have an attached bathroom that has a big beautiful stone with a huge mirror, but they revealed plans to make certain changes to make it feel like the other parts of the house. Nevertheless, they also have a huge closet to place their massive collection of clothes and shoes
