Flip or Flop stars were sued over unpaid wages
Tarek and Christina El Moussa, now Christina Hall, have dealt with no shortage of drama during their time on Flip or Flop. The HGTV show followed Tarek and Christina as they bought and fixed up homes in the hopes of turning a profit, and it looks like they brought in a team to help with all that fixing up. That move reportedly came back to bite them, as the El Moussas were sued by a former employee of their company, Next Level Property Investments, for unpaid wages and breach of contract about their hit show.
HGTV stars still have frequent legal trouble after their renovations. Hosts of Windy City Rehab were sued by homeowner for leaks and construction issues. A couple in the North Oaks area of Minnesota sued HGTV after purchasing a home renovated on the show, and they sued for fraud. The parties eventually settled, but trouble didn’t end there. Terak and Christina El Moussa were sued by a former employee on Flip or Flop, who claimed he was not paid for his work after being hired to scout homes. It’s unclear if the lawsuit was ever resolved, and with the show’s end, it’s unlikely that there will be any future legal issues for the two stars.
