‘Unsellable Houses’ Bumped By 2 Other HGTV Series

HGTV has been making last-minute changes to its summer schedule. One such change affected “Why the Heck Did I Buy this House?” which was initially set to premiere its second season on June 13 but was pushed back to July 23 at 10 p.m. Eastern time. Host Kim Wolfe shared the exciting news on Instagram, promoting the show’s “serious house-transformation craziness” and its move to primetime.

In addition, HGTV has announced that the new series “Renovation Resort Showdown,” starring Bryan Baeumler and Scott McGillivray, will premiere on July 23 at 9 p.m. Eastern time. The show features four teams of builders/designers competing to add the most value to one of four identical lakefront cabins in a “rundown” resort owned by McGillivray. With just seven weeks and a $100,000 budget, the teams will strive to impress the hosts and guest judges for a chance to win a $100,000 cash prize.   1. Sometimes I wonder what you people at A&E are smoking when you set your lineups!! You have several shows that have boring, uninteresting hosts & the hosts that are happy, perky and make the show interesting & have wonders hints & ideas for decorating
