Jonathan Knight Reveals How He Found the Love of His Life, Husband, Harley Rodriguez

Jonathan Knight is a famous singer best known for being one of the members of “New Kids on the Block.” At present, he is also hosting HGTV’s “FarmHouse Fixer.”

Likewise, since 2023, fans can see him competing in the 4th Season of “Rock the Block.” While the artist has been wowing the public with his excellent talents, his love life is an inspiration.

How Did Jonathan Knight Meet His Husband, Harley Rodrigues

Currently, in an interview with ET, Knight talked about his blissful marriage. He said he loves his marital life with his long-time lover, now husband, Harley Rodriguez.

They married secretly during the COVID pandemic and officially exchanged their wedding vows on 25th August 2022. As per the HGTV host, he and Harley have been together for the past 14 years.

“We found each other later on in life, which makes it even better. We understand each other,” said Jonathan.

Reflecting on the past, the singer stated that they almost had a long distance as they could not meet for many weeks due to his busy shooting schedules of “New Kids on the Block.” But after that, he said the reunion would be worth the wait every time.

Now, while Knight is delighted with his love life, he rarely features his husband on his social media. However, on 6th March, he tagged Harley on an Instagram photo where he was seen  napping with his dog on the couch and wrote, “Missing my two loves tonight.”

Jonathan Knight  is Competing in HGTV’s “Rock the Block.”

As mentioned, Knight manages time for his loved ones amid his occupied career. And as of present, the singer has not only been involved with renovating houses on “Fixer to Fabulous,” but he is also on the fourth season of “Rock the Block.”

The show allows 4 teams to compete with each other by renovating identical houses, and the house with the best renovation wins at last. “Rock the Block,” is presented by Ty Pennington.

As per Mr Pennighton, he believes the houses in the current season are supposably the biggest ones with the highest prices and bragging rights. Furthermore, Jonathan said he was initially skeptical after being approached for the reality series.

So, the star revealed about calling some of his HGTV friends, and they said,  “It’s gonna be long houses, you are gonna lose your voice, your’ ‘re gonna get no sleep.” However, he and his teammate, Kristina Crestin, decided to accept the challenge with the motive of winning the show.

As they are happy to be a part of the show, they also praised their opponent teams,  Bryan and Sarah Baeumler, Michel Smith Boyd and Anthony Elle, and Page Turner and Mitch Glew. Jonathan said,

“We are all just handing out and being troupers together, getting through this.”

To this, his co-star said being on “Rock the Block” has tested her, making her realize her capacity. Likewise, Page Turner talked about the challenging aspect of the show while saying,  “We are all a bunch of people who have lost their minds.”

Moreover, Anthony from another team said she finds the competition hard because they all compete against people they love.

So, they also try their best to make the challenge healthy. “We are like pageant girls. We will zip you up backstage and beat You up on stage,” she added.

Jonathan Knight Husband: Harley Rodriguez Bio

Harley Rodriguez is a 49 years old actor who is popularly known for his debut role in the TV show, “Sweet Valley High.” He was born on 22nd April 1973 and had 2 siblings.

Growing up in California, he completed his education in music and acting at Cypress College and Cal State University. Since 1994, the actor has served multiple TV shows and films and, some of them are “Price of Glory,” “VIP,” “The Amazing Race.”

In addition to acting, Harley is also a fitness instructor at the famous “Barry’s Bootcamp.” Interestingly like his husband, Jonathan Knight, Harley is also a gifted musician who can play instruments like saxophone, guitar, and piano.
