Jessica Cavalier is a 2nd generation gator hunter, trapper, and reality television personality. Alongside her mother, Liz, Jessica would enthrall fans on Swamp People.
The show entirely revolved around the month-long gator hunting season in the Atchafalaya River Basin. Jessica often accompanied her mother on these hunting trips, providing the extra backup the gator queen would need to track down these dangerous predators.

Jessica Cavalier Biography
Jessica is a former tv star who hails from Pierre Part, Louisiana. It is fair to say that she owes a large chunk of her fame to her mother, Liz ‘the Gator Queen’ Cavalier.
As a child, Jessica accompanied her mother on multiple trips to the Bayou, watching as the latter took down vicious gators. With time, Jessica was able to trap these vicious beasts on her own as well.
As far as Jessica’s educational background goes, we discovered that she attended Assumption High School. This is a college prep school for young women based in Louisville. Presently, Jessica works at Burgersmith in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Jessica on Swamp People
Jessica joined the cast of Swamp People during the series’ fourth season. She joined the cast during a perilous time.
A hurricane ripped through the Bayou just days before the start of the alligator season. It put everyone at a distinct disadvantage, prompting most of the regular cast members to bring in help.
This is when Liz’s daughter Jessica joined the fray. In total, Jessica has appeared in 16 different episodes alongside her mother. She’d officially leave Swamp People in 2016, passing the reigns back to her mother Liz.
Husband and Kids
Jessica is involved with fellow Louisiana native, Ryan Gross. He currently works as a substance abuser counsellor at the HERO Program.
This is an alcohol and addiction treatment facility that was designed to help recovering vets with drug problems. A look at her Facebook page revealed that Jessica and Ryan started dating in 2022.
We also learned that Jessica Cavalier has two children, Bella, and Elizabeth. Diving into Jessica’s Instagram page, we found that her daughters are already following in her footsteps. For instance, Jessica posted a picture of Bella on top of a medium sized gator!
