About their marriage

In December 1968, Ina and Jeffrey exchanged vows at Ina’s parents’ home. Ina was 20 years old when she unexpectedly became a military wife after Jeffrey enlisted as an Army officer and they were assigned to Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Ina believed her life was ideal because she had married the man of her dreams and had enough time to prepare meals for him. Yet one morning when Jeffrey got home, he discovered Ina watching the morning show That Girl.

“You need to take action, I simply told her. If you don’t, you won’t be content.” At that point, Ina decided to finish college and devote herself to her interests in business and cuisine. Later she traveled to Paris in 1972 with Jeffrey where she discovered the fullness of her native cooking skills.

Jeffrey sent the wrong message to Ina’s publicist

They have been open about their wonderful relationship with the public. Similarly, when Barrymore questioned Garten about Jeffrey sending love texts to Garten, the Food Network celebrity said yes, however, one explicit text ended up in the wrong hand.

She shared that “He does… and occasionally they go lost. He delivers them to the incorrect recipient, according to Garten. She said he sent a sexual text to Garten’s publicist and friend Kristina Felix by accident.

Ina’s great friend, who also serves as her PR was mistakenly texted with the words “You’re going to be delicious tonight,” intending them for Ina. Kristina exclaimed, “Woah.” I don’t think this was intended for me, she said,” Garten said

The couple, who has been married in 1968, is familiar with exchanging love notes. After all, they wrote to one other at the beginning of their relationship while Jeffrey was in the army, and they later spent years working in various places and only seeing each other on the weekends.

However, it’s common to have such mistakes; luckily, this issue was not stretched into a wrong meaning.
