HGTV Reveals the fate of Farmhouse Fixer Season 3

Jonathan Knight, the former New Kids on the Block sensation turned restoration aficionado, returns for a triumphant third season of Farmhouse Fixer. Set to debut on HGTV on Tuesday, April 23rd at 9:00 pm, Knight is poised to continue his fervent quest to preserve the rich history of centuries-old New England farmhouses.

Teaming up with his trusted collaborator, designer Kristina Crestin, they embark on an adventurous journey tackling a myriad of challenging renovations across eight captivating new episodes.

From the enchanting abode of a lightkeeper nestled on a remote island to the rustic charm of a former clam shack, interspersed with a selection of venerable 200-300-year-old farmhouses, Farmhouse Fixer promises to captivate viewers anew with its blend of restoration magic and historic allure.

As revealed in the press release for the upcoming season, Jon and Kristina are set to revisit the iconic John Proctor house, renowned for its connection to the Salem Witch Trials.

Collaborating with the current homeowners to revamp the primary suite, they encounter the challenges of water damage and black mold plaguing the kitchen and main living spaces of this historic First Period home, constructed in 1638.

Undeterred, they craft a strategy to rejuvenate this national landmark, returning it to its atmospheric tavern origins while ensuring its endurance for generations to follow.

What Is ‘Farmhouse Fixer?’

Farmhouse Fixer, as fans recall, honors the heritage of the past to safeguard it for the future. “An ancient New England farmhouse embodies a lifestyle,” remarked Kristina. “And it’s worth preserving,” Jonathan added.

Together, they seamlessly blend the timeless allure of yesteryear with the modern comforts for their clientele. Farmhouse Fixer delves into the nostalgia and allure of New England’s treasured farmhouses.

With the creative prowess of designer Kristina Crestin and the fervent dedication of Jonathan Knight, a true farmhouse enthusiast, the show breathes fresh vitality into these historic homes, ensuring their legacy endures.

While he gained fame as a member of the Grammy Award-nominated boy band New Kids on the Block, Jonathan Knight’s passion for home renovation is deeply rooted in his family history.

With his grandfather, father, and uncle all immersed in the field, Jonathan inherited a love for the craft. Becoming the family’s “go-to handyman,” he developed a profound appreciation for old houses. Following the band’s hiatus in 1994, Jonathan ventured into house flipping in the Boston area.

Even after New Kids on the Block reunited in 2007, he successfully balanced his enduring love for restoration with his rock and roll lifestyle, enjoying the best of both worlds.
