Ben and Erin Napier are life and business partners who are based in Laurel, Mississippi. They have gained a reputation for their breath-taking DIY and design projects. Ben handles the basic construction elements of the project, while Erin is more focussed on the design.
The success they experienced made television the next natural step. Ben and Erin started hosting the HGTV show, Home Town.
Despite their busy schedules, family values is still something the Napiers hold dear. Recently, the couple welcomed a new family member. Here’s what you need to know.
Ben and Erin Napier’s family
Erin and Ben have a small family. Their first child, Helen, is 4 years old presently. She was born back in January 2018.
Three years after her birth, the Napiers were blessed with another daughter. Mae Napier was born in May 2021 and is turning 1 this year.
Erin, who had been documented the whole experience on her Instagram page, talked about the importance of siblings.
She used the example of her father and uncle, who had a close relationship. This is what she wanted for both of her daughters.
Aside from kids, the couple are also animal lovers, and in extension, dog owners. They had two great Pyrenees named Chevy and Baker. The former came from a working farm, while the latter was a rescue.
Just last year, however, Erin took to Instagram to reveal that 12-year-old Baker had sadly died. She captioned the post, ‘All dogs go to heaven’, adding that Baker would be greatly missed.
No one in the family was hit harder than Helen, who was left devasted after Baker’s death. Erin revealed that her 4-year-old daughter found it hard to cope with their dog’s passing.
Helen repeatedly expressed how lonely she felt without Baker. Whenever she got emotional, Helen would even pull a blanket over her head and wallow in silence. This is one of the reasons why Ben and Erin decided to get a new dog.
Ben and Erin Napier Welcome a New Family Member
Seven months after the death of Baker, Ben and Erin decided that it was finally time to introduce a new family member. This came in the form of an adorable, and fluffy puppy, whom, they also named Baker! In a new post titled ‘Meet the new Baker’, Ben can be seen exiting his truck with the new puppy.
Unsurprisingly, Helen was delighted at the sight of the new puppy. As expressed earlier, all she wanted was an animal friend.
In her own words, nothing else would have been able to fill that void. Several fans were quick to show support for the Napiers and their daughter.
They talked about the importance of animals, and the sense of loss pet owners felt when their dogs passed away. Most of Erin’s followers wished the Napiers years of great memories with their new family members.
