Amy, I find your studies and life thereby, very believable and fascinating. I can easily see that possessing your abilities has it’s tremendous draining affects. Your studies in college, combined w/research and the ability to keep your private life, private, inspires my belief that your ‘gift’ is pure and honest. So much of the psychic shows today do not seem to be real. When I was 12, my best friend and youngest brother fell to his death in a mineshaft accident in the old silver mines of southern New Mexico near where we lived. I had premonitions of the accident and begged my family to stay clear on many occasions. To this day, some 50 years later, the last site of my brother was in the back of Dad’s pickup heading for mine spelunking. I begged him not to go. Following his death, my mother gained an interest in the Edgar Casey studies and phenomenon. I believe that interest enables her to carry on to this day. In my later highschool days, I spent time w/an older neighbor friend who was interested in seances and Ouija boards. She had a gift, but to this day I do not know to what extent she placed herself in the Medium world. Sadly, I lost touch w/her after highschool. Onto college, my first roommate delved into black magic and drugs. I owned a Ouija board and we played with it alot. I separated myself from this because of an inward fear and some experiences I didn’t understand. In my 40’s, I contacted a psychiatric physician and a therapist to help me with depression I carried for years and still to this day maintain such care. At one point while under my doctor’s care, I told her about the Ouija board I still had. She told me how dangerous these were and asked me to bring it in for disposal. I drug my feet, but decided that if I was to maintain care from her I best do as she asked. Weeks before this, a coworker gave me a witch figure she had obtained from a trip to New Orleans. She asked that I place it on the pinboard in front of my desk. It began to speak to me even loudler than before to commit suicide. I had attempted suicide several times before having the stick witch; I don’t believe it really caused my depressive anxieties to abound, as I had been a mental patient for years prior. Once gone, i.e. the Ouija board and witch disposal, my mental outlook somewhat improved. I do not dabble in the dark world to this day, and, frankly, it is because I did not and do not know what I was doing. I remain very interested in human history, from Egyptian discoveries to, only recently, your show, Dead Files. There had been other shows I have watched throughout the years, but found them to be inconclusive and ‘funky’! Your abilities are amazing!! Your desire to use your skill and abilities to help the living (and the dead) are so inspirational. Further, I was unaware that such pursuance takes an enormous physical toll on your body and psychy. What a carring soul you are to help both worlds! There are many things I have heard about and/or sought to understand. Your no-nonsense approach has filled me with belief and the authenticity of your findings now enable me to totally understand the realism of other energy planes; as we are a source of energy and that energy never dies – it just moves on. My belief has enabled me to let loved ones continue on their spiritual path after their earthly death. My wonderful Daddy passed four years ago. Before his untimely death, I asked that when he died someday he would reach down “and pull me through”, like the Southern song we often sang had said, “If you get to heaven before I do, just bore a hole and pull me through…”. He told me that I knew he couldn’t do that and so far, no hole! In time. I do believe though, I WILL be with him again!!
The energies that you deal with must be so beyond strong. Your willingness to put yourself in this situation over and over displays such kindness of heart and a generosity beyond. I have ‘enjoyed’ your ‘Death File” show. I trust that if/when you move on to another show, your ability to the extent of which you share your gift will be carried on in such dignity. You are a special person to carry on, all the while maintaining your wellness and rest. No dollar figure can be placed on your abilities and willingness, you are, in words priceless!! I reiterate how fascinating and special you are to me! Best wishes and thank you for sharing your gift! Hope to see you for many years to come!
I look at it this way…If Quantum Physicist believe there are 11 or more dimensions, I do not think it is out of this world or difficult to believe in the paranormal…
Amy did an appearance on the show A Haunting several years back. She was not the main medium that gave the reading on the house, but she was more of a commentator explaining the findings and how they manifested.
Dear Amy, My son and I just love your show. We always learn something new. You are amazing! Would love to ask you a question, but I don;t know if you do that.
The subject matter keeps repeating itself only the players are changing. Some people are so naive they believe every word. Fear is a powerful tool and should not be exploited. Amy has a vivid imagination however the story lines keep repeating themselves and findings are scaring the wits out of people. Reducing them to tears and hysteria. They hang onto every word. Lets face people get older peoples health have problems along with life itself. It cant all be based on the supernatural.
amy you are the best. and i love steve you all make a great team.i have a friend that see,s dead people, orbes with faces, dark smoke with demon looking faces at the end.he can here them talk.i thought he was playing around me me i did not believe untill we went outside at night to take a picture at my house ,after he took 2 pictures one had a woman standing looking at us the other picture they was 2 that look like demons or a monster running toward us. i could not believe what i was seeing. can you give him any advice to help him control it ,its driving him crazy it dont matter were he lives its there were he goes.thanks gary..
