Lil Jon is known as an Atlanta-based rapper behind hits like “Get Low” and “Turn Down For What,” but it looks like he’s picking up a new skill…home renovation! Along with designer Anitra Mecadon, he ventures into an HGTV homes renovation, where they take us behind the scenes of their renovation projects. “I love walking into somebody’s house and turning it upside down,” Lil Jon says in the series premiere.
They transform outdated vintage campers into incredible glamper getaways, take on a couple of amazing playroom makeovers and create in-home jazz lounges that are true show-stoppers. The energy Lil Jon brings to the show is what sets it apart in the sea of home renovation shows, and there’s more of it is on the way!
A second season premieres summer 2023. We can’t wait to see what other transformations Lil Jon and Mecadon have in store and to see what other Lil Jon home renovation-isms we can look forward to hearing!
