“Fred, I am so very sorry for your recent diagnosis. I was also recently diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, fatal in most cases, with the diagnosis discovered totally by accident on Christmas day when I’d suffered a bad fall. I had fractured my back in two places, which turned out to be the lesser of the problems when the doctor reported my “incidental” diagnosis of lung cancer. My thoughts and prayers are for you also, Fred, praying that if a cure cannot find its way to you, a peaceful end can. That is also what I pray for, for myself. Take care and make the best of the time you have left.”
Fred Hurt expressed his gratitude for his well-wishers and said he will always appreciate the folks who have followed his adventurous exploits.
