Kanani Chock is an American reality TV personality famous for his appearance in the TV series “Pitbulls and Parolees”. His mother, Tia Maria Torres, is the founder of the Villalobos Rescue Center, and he works alongside her and his family to help stray and abandoned animals.
He is often seen doing heavy physical work on his mother’s farm and makes sure that the rescued animals get appropriate training to behave well with other people. Kanani Chock is married to Mariah Chock, and they have two children together.

Kanani Chock is the adopted son of Tia Maria Torres, who was born on April 20, 1987, in Hawaii, with his twin brother, Keli’l Chock. The twin brothers were close friends of Maria Torres, daughter of Tia Maria Torres.
They used to volunteer in the rescue center initially. When they were in high school in California, the Torres family adopted the twins and have lived with them since then.
The thirty-five years old animal rescue activist is actively working with his mother and family to rescue animals and treat them with love and compassion. He is also passionate about motorcycles and is a professional stunt rider.
His girlfriend Mariah Chock is lovingly called M2 because of the similar name to his sister Mariah Torres. He got married to M2 in November 2018 after dating for five years.
She also works in the rescue center, and they started their romantic relationship in the shelter. The couple is blessed with two children, Luke Chock, and Leilana Chock.
Luke was born on May 12, 2012, and after eight years, their daughter, Leilani Chock was born on November 27, 2020.
Tia Maria Torres loves her grandchildren and was often seen babysitting them in the series “Pitbulls and Parolees”.
Accident and Death Rumors
The thirty-five years old TV personality has starred in the show “Pitbulls and Parolees” since 2009. However, when he didn’t appear in season sixteen of the show, the fans were worried and wanted to know about his situation.
In episode four of the sixteenth season, Tia Maria Torres and Maria Chock revealed in the series that he was injured in one of his motorcycle stunts.
They further added that he was hospitalized and was admitted to the ICU and he might need a few months to recuperate and return to his healthy self.
His death rumor started shortly after when Tia Maria Torres posted an obituary in her Facebook post.
The fans of the show thought the obituary was for Kanani but it was later found that the post was for Colin, a former employee of the rescue center.
The mistake was made when it was also revealed that Colin passed away due to a motorcycle accident.
Kanani returned to the show in the eighteenth season in 2021 and has worked with his mother and wife to safely rescue the abandoned animals.
Legal Problems
After he started appearing in the TV series “Pitbulls and Parolees”, Kanani Chock has not been involved in any illegal works that may give him a bad reputation in front of the law.
However, before the show premiered, he was once arrested by the local police for the illegal possession of recreational drugs.
On September 7, 2007, after a day in jail, he was released on parole. Since then, the thirty-five years old has not been involved in any illegal altercations.
