The Fulfilling Journey of Being a Stepdad: Reflections from Josh, Christina Hall’s Husband

The realtor admitted that being a stepdad to wife Christina’s children required some time adjustment.

Christina Hall and her husband Josh, recently discussed their co-parenting journey in an interview with ET. During the conversation, they touched upon managing busy schedules, with Josh, 40, sharing insights on adapting to their new reality.

Christina’s husband explained that being a stepdad requires significant adjustments, particularly in terms of time management. He also stated that instead of solely focusing on his partner, he now needs to provide attention and care to three young ones, just as much as she does.

“But I think it’s very rewarding, because now I know that when those kids become contributing adults to society one day, I’ll have an impact on how they were brought up and what they become” were his exact words.

Christina, known for her role in Christina on the Coast, was formerly married to Tarek El Moussa, star of Flipping 101, and Ant Anstead, host of Celebrity IOU: Joyride. She has a daughter named Taylor, aged 12, and a son named Brayden, aged 7, with El Moussa, who is 41 years old. Additionally, she has a son named Hudson, aged 3, with Anstead, who is 44 years old.

Despite the couple’s commitments to their own pursuits, they nevertheless find time to spend together as a family. Christina shared that whenever she offers advice, people often assume it’s easy for her because she has help.
However, she clarified that they don’t actually have any assistance. “Neither of us relies on full-time nannies. We prefer to handle almost everything ourselves, so we genuinely parent independently without outside assistance.” She stated on one of her interviews.
In April 2022, a representative for Christina confirmed to people that Christina, along with her family of five, would be transitioning into a long-term family home with Josh. Moreover, Christina shared a photo on Instagram explaining the motives behind their decision to move forward.
“We relocated to Dana Point last summer, captivated by the breathtaking ocean view,” she captioned in the post. “While we still adore the view, one aspect we don’t appreciate is the 90-minute round trip commute to and from the kids’ school. So, we’re heading back to Newport.”
She emphasized her desire for her blended family to flourish and thrive in their new house. Expressing her excitement, she stated that their new home is a long-term residence, conveniently located near school, friends, and work.
As someone who has often sought new experiences, she acknowledged that her soul is now ready to find rest. At the age of 38, she affirmed that she is exactly where she wants to be and eagerly looks forward to transforming the next house into their cherished home.
