Parker Schnabel is a celebrated gold miner and reality television star, known for his appearance in the Discovery show “Gold Rush.” At 16, he first landed on the show in 2011. He was awarded the Big Nugget Mine in the 2nd season after his grandpa, John Schnabel, opted to step down.
Besides his innovative gold mining skills, Parker also remains in the limelight due to his romantic connection. He, alongside his ex-girlfriend, Ashley Youle, had appeared on the show during its 7th season. The two parted ways over the summer of 2018 and Parker blamed himself for their separation.
Parker Schnabel dated Ashley Youle
Parker Schnabel previously dated a veterinary nurse, Ashley Youle. They first encountered each other in 2016 while in Australia. Soon, the two got connected and spent time together gold mining at the Klondike.
Later, Youle followed that business just like a fish to water and made appearances in two series of Gold Rush.
During an early conversation with Maxim magazine, Parker shared that his then-girlfriend, Ashley, was a huge help to him, and she is good to be around.
The 28-year-old gold miner also mentioned Ashley deserves enough credit for how wonderfully the summer went.
Ashley, along with Parker’s crew, landed in 18 episodes of Discovery’s super hit reality shows.
As the pair was so in love that the team arranged a “Big Kiss Competition” to find out who would receive the most smooches for the program’s footage; however, Parker was really awkward.
The couple broke up during the summer of 2018, and Ashely didn’t join the 9th season of the show.
Parker Schnabel Blamed himself for ending the relationship with Ashley
Schnabel’s beautiful relationship with Ashley ended in 2018, leaving their fans in shock. The former couple hasn’t spilled the beans on the reason for their breakup to date.
However, Parker opened up about the pair splitting up in the 2018 episode titled “Win Big or Die Trying.” The gold-mining boy expressed regret for not giving priority to their relationship.
Schnabel even blamed himself for their separation. On the show, he stated,
“I just never really made the relationship a priority, didn’t make her a priority, and she deserves a lot better than that.”
Ashley was great on the show during her brief appearance on the series, but sadly, their relationship couldn’t last long. All of their pictures together have been deleted by the veterinary nurse from her Instagram handle.
Ashley Youle is now dating a new boyfriend
Ashley Youle is now seeing Mitch Baker, and she appears to be pleased with her current relationship. It is believed that the two started their romantic connection at the beginning of 2022.
On 8 February that year, Mitch featured his lover for the first time on his IG account. Uploading a lovely picture of them, he also shared how blessed he is to have her by his side.
Then, Baker posted a series of their photographs on 14 February and wished a Happy Valentine’s Day to his girlfriend.
He captioned it, “Happy Valentine’s Day Ashley. You gorgeous girl.” Then, the pair settled into their new residence in Malvern East, Australia, on 10 June.
Both Ashley and Baker are open about their relationship and keep posting each other’s pictures on their respective social handles. In September, the two visited Yarra Valley Wineries, as evidenced by Baker’s Instagram post.
