Molly Yeh is stepping into a very different kind of Food Network spotlight. Best known as the cheerful host of Girl Meets Farm, Yeh is now joining 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing as one of the 24 competitors for Season 3, putting her cooking skills to the test in one of the network’s toughest culinary competitions. Food Network says the new season premieres on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 8/7c, with streaming available the next day on HBO Max and discovery+.

That is a big shift for Yeh, who has built much of her Food Network identity around warm, family-inspired cooking and approachable recipes. In Food Network’s Season 3 cast reveal, the network describes her as the host of Girl Meets Farm who is taking her “homegrown culinary skills” into the 24 in 24 kitchen. The profile also highlights how her Jewish and Chinese roots influence her food, and notes that Girl Meets Farm has grown into 15 seasons so far.

For anyone new to the series, 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing is exactly what the title promises: 24 chefs, 24 challenges, and 24 nonstop hours of cooking. The competition is filmed in real time, with hosts Michael Symon and Esther Choi guiding the chefs through a grueling marathon that tests far more than flavor. Food Network describes it as part culinary marathon and part social experiment, as the chefs battle fatigue while facing challenges built around the realities of professional kitchen life.

Season 3 is also raising the stakes. According to Food Network, the chefs will compete for a $100,000 grand prize, the biggest in the show’s history. The network says the challenges are split into eight shifts, with themes including strategy, speed, resourcefulness, adaptability, teamwork, risk-taking, precision and elevation. The season premiere will also introduce a different way of selecting challenges and a fresh judging format, with Jet Tila appearing as a guest judge in the opening round.

The cast itself is stacked with serious culinary talent. Food Network calls it a “culinary murderer’s row,” featuring Michelin-starred chefs, James Beard Award nominees and familiar Food Network faces. The full Season 3 lineup includes Robyn Almodovar, Avishar Barua, Cris Brown, Dawn Burrell, Monique Cadavona, Sam Fore, Lex Grant, Trimell Hawkins, Anthony Iracane, Maryam Ishtiaq, Joe Isidori, Brian Malarkey, Maria Mazon, Christina Miros, Shota Nakajima, Olivia Ostrow, Viet Pham, Michele Ragussis, Alex Stupak, Lee Anne Wong, Molly Yeh, Zac Young, Ara Zada and Antonello Zito.

That lineup is part of what makes Yeh’s casting so interesting. She is entering a field packed with chefs who are known for high-pressure competition, restaurant leadership and elite culinary résumés. While Yeh has long been a beloved Food Network personality, this series gives viewers a chance to see her in a far more intense environment, one where stamina, adaptability and quick decision-making matter just as much as creativity.

In other words, this is not just Molly Yeh appearing on another Food Network show. It is Molly Yeh taking a real competitive risk. And that is what could make Season 3 especially fun to watch. Fans already know her as a polished host and recipe creator, but 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing may reveal a side of her viewers have not seen before. With Symon and Choi back as hosts, Jet Tila in the mix, and finale judges Alex Guarnaschelli and Jean-Georges Vongerichten set to help crown the winner, Season 3 looks built to be one of the show’s biggest yet.
