Marie Martha Roberts is survived by a husband, Steven Roberts. Much like his wife, Steven is also a celebrated reporter and author. The New Jersey native was born on the11th of February 1943. This means that he turned 76 years old this year.
For his educational history, we learned that Steven is a former student of Harvard University, one of the most prestigious colleges in the world. This gave him the platform to go on and have a very successful career as a reporter. He has worked with reputable publications such as The New York Times, and USA Weekend.

The late journalist’s father was a man named Thomas Hale Boggs Sr. He was a politician in the United States of America who had ties to the Democratic Party. Cokie’s father was a native of Harrison County, long before he got his start in politics. Also, he was born on the 15th of February, in 1914.
By 26, Hale Boggs had already made his mark in the world of politics. This came after he found his way into the House of District after a successful campaign. The man was also a war veteran who enlisted to serve during the Second World War. Hale was married to a woman named Lindy Claiborne. Together, they had three children: Barbara, Tommy, and Cokie. Tragedy struck the family on the 16th of October 1972.
The helicopter that the politician was in disappeared somewhere in Alaska. After an extensive search which went on for well over a month, the US Coast Guard, Air Force, Navy, and a few other organizations gave up the search.
Thomas Hale Boggs Sr. was declared deceased in Absentia later that year.
