Torress was born on 6 September 1991 in California, USA, and was raised in a dog-loving family.
As of 2023, Mariah is 32 years old. She is one of the daughters of Tia Maria, the founder of Villalobos Rescue Center (VRC).
Mariah works for the VRC along with her siblings Tania and adopted twin brothers Kanani and Moe.
Her parents are divorced, as Torress’s father, Aren Marcus Jackson, has been in and out of jail for years and rarely appeared in the show as well.
Mariah loves her father and is very close to him. In VRC, Torress works with convicts on parole to care for, train, and rescue dogs, especially Pitbulls.
