That’s a classic body-recomposition strategy, and it lines up with Bynum’s own explanation that they were trying to get healthier—not hinting at a hidden diagnosis.
Still, fan concern didn’t come out of nowhere. Reactions to their posts ranged from praise to worry, with some followers saying Thomas looked tired or “too thin.” And in celebrity culture, dramatic visual changes often trigger health speculation before facts catch up. The online pattern is familiar: people see a new photo, fill in blanks, and rumors move faster than verified information.
There’s also a second layer that often gets overlooked: stress. In September 2025 interviews, Bynum said the cancellation turmoil around Bargain Block blindsided him and Thomas, and that their business was “derailed” for months while they tried to pivot. He also described emotionally dark moments during that period.
