HGTV Bargain Block star Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas Purchased their new home. Have a look

HGTV stars Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas, who have made Detroit their home since 2017, are sparking speculation about a possible move northward. On August 31, Bynum took to Instagram to share the exciting news that they’ve acquired a new property, hinting at a significant change in their lives. His caption read, “We’re thrilled to announce our ownership of a charming ‘up north’ retreat! To say we’re overjoyed would be an understatement lol #northernmichigan #puremichigan.” Accompanying the announcement were snapshots of their new acquisition, showcasing a striking dark grey multi-level home nestled amidst the northern landscape. A heartfelt selfie of the engaged couple in front of their latest purchase exuded their anticipation for the future.

While the exact location of Bynum and Thomas’ new abode remains undisclosed, their journey to this enigmatic retreat involved a flight over water, as divulged in Bynum’s Instagram Story on the same day. The story featured breathtaking aerial views of Michigan, with a caption that read, “The flight to the house is 15 minutes of unreal water views. I can’t WAIT FOR FALL FOLIAGE!” This cryptic revelation only adds to the intrigue surrounding their exciting new chapter, leaving fans eagerly awaiting more details about their northern Michigan adventure.

Keith Bynum & Evan Thomas Celebrate Their New Home

While Evan Thomas didn’t share a separate post about their new Northern Michigan residence, he enthusiastically marked the commencement of a fresh project for himself and Keith Bynum. He joined in on the celebration by commenting on his fiancé’s Instagram post, exclaiming, “Let the renovations begin!” This sparked excitement among their followers, with one fan suggesting that the home’s makeover should feature on the HGTV show “Bargain Block,” humorously suggesting an “opening episode next season!!!” Another supporter echoed this sentiment, expressing, “We need a TV special to watch your renovations!” Keith Bynum responded to this with a cryptic message, typing “🤔 💭 😊” in reply.

In a show of support, some of Bynum and Thomas’s HGTV friends also chimed in to congratulate the couple. Jenny Marrs from “Fixer to Fabulous” expressed her joy by writing, “YAY!!!!!!! So happy for you guys!!! ❤️ 🙌.” It’s worth noting that Jenny and her husband, Dave Marrs, had recently traveled to Detroit to assist Bynum and Thomas with a renovation project they were working on for “Bargain Block.” This generous gesture came as a return favor after Bynum and Thomas had visited Bentonville, Arkansas, in March 2023, to help paint a mural at the Marrses’ new retail store, Marrs Mercantile, for an episode of “Fixer to Fabulous.”

Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson, stars of “Married to Real Estate,” also joined the chorus of well-wishers. Sherrod congratulated the couple with a simple yet heartfelt message, “Congrats!” Meanwhile, Jackson added his enthusiastic approval with a 🔥-filled “Congrats.”

Adding to the celebrity congratulations, Trixie Mattel, a renowned drag queen and star of a renovation show, shared her applause with three 👏 emojis. Notably, Mattel hosted the discovery+ series “Trixie Motel,” which found itself nominated alongside “Bargain Block” at the 34th annual GLAAD Media Awards in the “Outstanding Reality Program” category. While Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas had the chance to meet Mattel and even shared a table with the star, both shows ultimately missed out on the top honor, which went to HBO’s “We’re Here,” featuring three of Mattel’s fellow “RuPaul’s Drag Race” alumni.
