Exciting news for “Fixer to Fabulous” fans — Dave and Jenny Marrs have officially started filming Season 7! On May 22, 2025, the couple shared a behind-the-scenes video from their first big home reveal of the season, and it’s already creating a buzz.
In the short clip, the Marrs are seen standing outside a freshly renovated house with their film crew, smiling and ready for what’s next. It’s a big moment that confirms the new season is in full swing — just weeks after Season 6 wrapped up on HGTV.
But this time around, the couple is planning to do more than just beautiful home makeovers. In a recent chat with EntertainmentNow, Dave and Jenny hinted that viewers can expect something different in Season 7. They’re planning to get a little “weird” — in a fun way — and break away from their usual formula to surprise fans.
So, while the heart of the show will still be about transforming homes, it sounds like the Marrs are ready to experiment and keep things fresh.
Jenny Marrs gave fans a fun update by sharing a video from the set and writing, “We’ve been busy filming Season 7 of Fixer to Fabulous, and today is our very first reveal of the season! We’re so excited to show you what we’ve been working on — it’s going to be such a fun one!”
While there’s no official premiere date just yet, Jenny added, “You’ll see us back on your screens this fall! I’ll share the air date as soon as I get it 😉.”
Jenny Marrs Says Next Season of ‘Fixer to Fabulous’ May Include Some ‘Weird Things’
As production for Season 7 of Fixer to Fabulous kicked off back in March, Jenny Marrs shared a glimpse of what fans can expect—and it sounds like this season will have a fresh twist.
In an interview with EntertainmentNow, Jenny said the show will still feature the familiar home renovations fans love. “We’ll definitely have the regular, tried-and-true makeovers,” she confirmed. But this time, they’re also stepping outside the box.
“This season, we’re trying to do some different things,” she explained. “We’re looking at ideas that are a little unusual or unexpected. I can’t say exactly what yet, but we’ve found ourselves saying, ‘That’s kind of weird… but why not?’”
After several successful seasons, Jenny said she and Dave now have more freedom to shape the direction of the show. “We have a little more say in what projects make it on air,” she noted, which gives them the chance to focus on what matters most to them: telling meaningful stories.
“I think what really makes our show different,” Jenny continued, “is that it’s not just about showing a house before and after. We want to share the real stories of the people who live in these homes. That’s what makes it special.”
For the Marrs, it’s not just about fresh paint or modern kitchens—it’s about connection, family, and hope. “We’re choosing homes and projects that are interesting, yes, but also where we can tell stories that are uplifting,” Jenny said. “There’s a lot of hard stuff in the world right now, and we want our show to bring a little joy.”
Even when they feature families who have faced tough times, the Marrs want the message to stay positive. “We always try to show the hope that comes through the hard moments,” Jenny added. “There’s always something good to hold onto.”
With a mix of heartfelt storytelling and unexpected projects, Season 7 is shaping up to be one of their most inspiring seasons yet.
Dave Marrs Says Another St. Jude Makeover is Also in the Works
Along with home renovations and new twists, fans can expect Season 7 of Fixer to Fabulous to highlight more of the charitable work that’s so close to the Marrs family’s heart.
“We’re trying to figure out another St. Jude project,” Dave revealed, referring to the home makeovers they’ve done in partnership with their friend Jay Cobb — a former patient at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Their work with Jay began in Season 5 with a special playground build, and continued in Season 6 with an unforgettable 24-hour renovation.
That powerful episode, which aired in January, followed the Marrs team as they stepped in to help a family where both the mother and young daughter were battling cancer. It was a fast, emotional turnaround — and one that left a deep impact.
Jenny later shared on Instagram that the episode was “probably the one Dave and I are most proud of in all our years of doing this.”
Dave echoed that feeling during his interview with EntertainmentNow. “That one meant a lot,” he said. “Not just to our family and our kids, but to everyone involved — our crew, the subcontractors, the brands we work with. Everyone wanted to be part of it.”
As a builder, Dave admitted that sometimes the daily grind can feel repetitive. “You start to wonder — does it matter? We’re just building house after house,” he said. “But it does matter. These moments remind us why we do what we do.”
Looking ahead to the new season, Dave said they’re putting a big focus on meaningful stories — ones that celebrate resilience and the power of community.
“We want to highlight people who’ve gone through tough times but keep moving forward,” he explained. “If we can use the show to make the world feel a little smaller and bring people closer together, then we’re doing something right.”
Season 7 promises more than just beautiful homes — it’s about lifting up real people and spreading hope, one project at a time.
