HGTV personalities Dave and Jenny Marrs find immense joy in their life on their family farm nestled in Bentonville, Arkansas. However, managing the diverse array of farm animals brings its fair share of unexpected challenges.
Jenny recently took to Instagram to share one such challenge, involving their beloved sheep named BaaBaa falling ill. In a heartfelt post on March 4th, she offered insights into the situation.
“One of my sweet girls has sustained an injury, but we remain hopeful for her recovery. Additionally, we had the unique opportunity to witness our first-ever sheep ultrasound. When the vet suggested it, I eagerly agreed,” Jenny disclosed. “Yesterday began with the looming possibility of sadness as we observed BaaBaa’s struggles, yet it concluded with a sense of hopeful anticipation. Hang in there, BaaBaa. We’re rooting for you, mama!” 🤍🐑
while Jenny posted the update about her sheep’s pregnancy, a website named heavy published this news with the misleading title that made fans confused and they are thinking Jenny is the one who’s pregnant, and even flooding comments with congratulations.
Jenny’s post featured a poignant snapshot of BaaBaa lying on her back, her front legs reaching skyward. Alongside this, Jenny shared a photo and two brief video snippets capturing the ultrasound process. In these clips, Jenny, Dave, and their children observed intently as the vet conducted the examination, revealing a precious sight: a baby lamb growing inside BaaBaa.
“That’s the baby. Oh, I see tiny ears,” one of the Marrs children exclaimed in one of the video clips.
In response to Jenny’s update, fans flooded the comment section with well-wishes for BaaBaa’s swift recovery and expressed delight at the news of her impending arrival.
“BaaBaa ultrasound?! 🥹 ❤️ 🐑,” one fan remarked, while another playfully quipped, “Sheer joy!! Get it?😉 Good luck Baabaa!!”
“Know that your animals are like family to you! Good thoughts for a speedy recovery coming your way!😍😍,” expressed another devoted fan.
Jenny provided further updates on BaaBaa’s journey through her Instagram story on March 3rd. She detailed, “Babies are in the pen so I can load BaaBaa on a trailer and get her to the vet. Her leg is hurt.” Jenny continued to document their entire veterinary excursion, concluding with reassuring news, “Not sure what’s happening with her foot but we have meds and a plan and a baby on the way! 🐑.”

BaaBaa Has Given Birth Multiple Times on the Marrs Family Farm
The Marrs family has a knack for welcoming new lambs into their fold, and BaaBaa is no exception. Dave posted a heartwarming video on Facebook in May 2021, capturing Jenny’s role as a midwife for BaaBaa as she gave birth to twins. The family named the twins Ben and Nate, after their eldest twin sons. Fast forward almost a year later, in May 2022, Jenny joyfully announced that BaaBaa had given birth to another lamb, christened Daisy.
Then, in January 2023, the Marrs family’s farm saw the arrival of yet another set of twin lambs. While it remains uncertain whether these were BaaBaa’s offspring or another sheep’s, these recent additions coincidentally coincided with Jenny’s 44th birthday.
“After sending the kids off to school and settling down with my morning coffee by the cozy fire, Dave called from the car with excitement in his voice, informing me of the new additions in the pasture! I dashed outside in my bathrobe and slippers to welcome our latest arrivals,” Jenny recounted about the recent birth. She added, “We haven’t settled on names yet, but Charlotte insisted that one of them must be named Jenny, in honor of our shared birthday.”
