Why is Jenny Scared of flying?

The HGTV host also mentioned on her Instagram that she wasn’t always scared of flights. During her 20’s, she says, she was an avid flyer. When she got her first job after her college, she used to fly very often for her work. So, what happened?

Flying started to get scary for Jenny during her 20s. She was having nightmares about flying during that time.

She explained:

“Then, I had a few scary things happen and I started having nightmares about flying. I had my first full-blown panic attack over the sea as we flew to Congo for the first time to visit Sylvie. When we landed, it was nighttime. We were greeted by machine guns and our luggage was ransacked by armed guards. They took the supplies we had brought for the orphanage.”

Sharing her flying experience, Jerry also added: “From that point on, I was afraid of landing at night in a new place.”
