Jenn Todryk Reveals an Unfortunate incident where she broke her Toe.
Jenn Todryk kicked off her latest “Window Wednesday” update with the kind of real-life detail that instantly makes you feel like you’re FaceTiming a friend: she was painting her toenails because, in her words, they were looking “like something out of a horror film.” And while the nail polish color choice was… questionable (she joked it looked like “little poopy” once it was on), the story behind why her toe looked so rough is what really grabbed attention.
Because yes—Jenn reminded everyone that she broke her own toe, and the aftermath hasn’t been as simple as “it healed, the end.”
The Unfortunate Incident: A Bathroom Trip That Went Sideways
Jenn says the toe-breaking moment happened back in May—or at least she thinks it was May. What she remembers clearly is the “how,” because it was painfully specific and honestly easy to imagine.
She tripped on a shoe in her bathroom, and her toe got caught in the shoe. From there, her body did that automatic survival reflex—your brain decides to catch you before you even understand what’s happening. But in Jenn’s case, that reflex worked against her.
With her toe trapped, it ended up folding underneath her foot as she tried to stop herself from falling. Then all her body weight came down on it.
And that’s when it happened: “crack.”
It was fast, accidental, and totally the kind of injury that feels extra unfair because it happens in your own home, during a normal moment, because of a random shoe that shouldn’t have even been there.

The Toe Doctor Visit: Practical Choice, Unexpected Results
After the break, Jenn went to a toe doctor (a podiatrist). And instead of doing deep research and reading every review, she admitted she made a very Jenn-like decision: she picked someone close by.
She joked that she’s “all about proximity over high reviews,” which is funny… until the next part of the story, when she explains what happened with her toenail.
At the appointment, the doctor clipped her toenail, and now—according to Jenn—her nail seems to be “forever taking a hard right turn.” The nail looks crooked, exaggerated, and it makes the toe look even more dramatic than it already does.
Jenn said her toe naturally turns slightly to the right, and the nail was cut to match that angle. But the end result, in her eyes, is that her toe now looks like a literal L-shape.
Not exactly the “back to normal” outcome anyone hopes for after an injury.
What Happened After: The Toenail Fell Off and Turned Into a New Problem
Jenn also filled in the part most people don’t talk about: what comes after the initial break.
She explained that after she broke her toe, the toenail eventually fell off at a sharp diagonal. When it started growing back, a short piece on the side kept returning as an ingrown toenail.
And Jenn isn’t new to this—she said she’s dealt with ingrown toenails “a ton.” But this one wouldn’t stop. She couldn’t get it out no matter what she tried, so the doctor had to cut the side of the nail off to fix the problem.
So even though the “crack” moment was the headline, the real frustration has been the long, annoying chain reaction afterward: crooked growth, ingrown issues, and a toe that still doesn’t look the way she wants.
The Boundary She Drew: No More Feet Content in 2025
Jenn made one thing crystal clear: she’s not showing pictures.
She said she’s done with people asking for foot photos and explained that 2025 is the year she stopped showing her feet because of “creeps” and “weirdos” sending uncomfortable messages. She didn’t soften it, either—she told anyone who has a problem with that to unfollow.
And then she added a hilarious twist: she’s been forwarding the weird messages to her brother, who used to tease her by calling her “ogre feet.” Jenn told him, basically, “Look who’s got hot feet today,” and his reaction was exactly what you’d expect: Please stop. This is disturbing.
