Before he found fame on ‘Storage Wars,’ he played professionally as an arena football player and also competed as a Mixed Martial Arts fighter. He attributes his competitive spirit and determined attitude to his time in sports.
After spending the better part of a decade exploring storage sales and auctions, he focused himself in 2009 and decided to open a thrift store in Palmdale, California. He named the store ‘Grandma’s Attic’ and dedicates his time to fill the shelves with his finds.
Calvin also enjoys remaining active in the sporting world and worked at Vasquez High School as an assistant football coach. He helped the team raise money for new equipment by promoting their fundraising on Facebook.
