How did Rick Harrison Son Die? What happened?

Tragically, Adam Harrison, one of Rick Harrison’s sons from Pawn Stars, has passed away at the age of 39. TMZ initially reported his untimely death on Friday, January 19. Laura Herlovich, Rick’s representative, confirmed to the Las Vegas Review-Journal that Adam’s demise was a result of a drug overdose. The Las Vegas Metro Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.

In a statement to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Rick expressed profound sadness over the loss of Adam and requested privacy for the grieving family. Late on Friday, the owner of Gold & Silver Pawn Shop took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute to his son, posting a photo of himself and Adam with the caption, “You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam. 💔”

Rick’s Instagram followers flooded the comments section with an outpouring of support and condolences for the grieving reality star.

Rick’s Instagram was flooded with comments from his followers, expressing their support and offering condolences to the reality star. Donald Trump Jr. wrote, “I’m so sorry, man.”

Another Instagram user shared their sympathies, commenting, “I am so sorry for your loss, Rick. Too many of our children are taken by the disease of addiction. 🙏🏽”

Actor Christopher Clawson extended his condolences, stating, “Condolences, Rick. The fentanyl situation is out of control in this country, and nobody seems to be doing anything meaningful about it. Use your platform to help change that. I hope Adam and the Old Man are coming up with new ways to mess with Corey. ❤️”

In contrast to his father Rick and brother Corey, Adam never made an appearance on Pawn Stars, the reality series that documents the business operations at the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, Nevada.

As of now, an investigation into Adam’s death is actively underway, as confirmed by the Las Vegas Metro Police to TMZ. Despite PEOPLE’s request for additional comments on Friday, neither Laura Herlovich nor the Las Vegas Metro Police Department has provided an immediate response.
