In December 2023, HGTV revealed that Jonathan Knight would be headlining a new spinoff miniseries of “Farmhouse Fixer,” slated for release in 2024. Recently, the network has shared more details about this upcoming series, which will be titled “Farmhouse Fixer: Camp Revamp.”
According to an announcement made on May 20, the four-part series is set to debut on Tuesday, June 18, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time. The show will chronicle Knight’s journey as he acquires a neglected lakeside campground and undertakes the ambitious task of transforming it into a sought-after vacation spot in New England.
While it’s still unclear if Kristina Crestin—Knight’s trusted designer from “Farmhouse Fixer”—will make an appearance in this new venture, viewers can expect to see Knight receiving support from his husband Harley and his brother Jordan Knight, who is also his bandmate from New Kids on the Block.
Fans Eagerly Anticipate Jonathan Knight’s Latest Project
In HGTV’s press release about the new series, Jonathan Knight shared his enthusiasm with fans. “I’m taking a huge risk to pursue a dream I’ve been chasing,” he said. “These types of properties are rare. And this is the one. It’s now or never, and it’s all on me—my money, my designs, my problems—but the reward… that’s all mine too.”
The network announced the premiere date for “Camp Revamp” through a post on May 20th that quickly garnered excitement among fans.
One fan commented enthusiastically: “These last couple years have been the most laid back and happy I’ve ever seen Jon. It makes ME happy seeing him thriving and doing what he loves! 🥹”
Another user added their anticipation: “Wait, why is this actually gonna be so cool?? I’m definitely trying to vacation here!”
A third fan expressed their excitement over seeing more of Jon’s work: “This is the part of the season trailer I was waiting for! And I know Jon will slay this project too. It’ll be a magic summer to see the results indeed 😉.”
A fourth user mentioned how much they were looking forward to “Camp Revamp,” especially since it would help ease their disappointment over “Farmhouse Fixer” wrapping up its current season.
As per HGTV’s update regarding “Camp Revamp,” its first episode will feature Jonathan bringing his family along as they revisit memories from childhood summers spent at similar campgrounds—a nostalgic trip down memory lane that quickly turns challenging when unexpected issues like foundation problems and pests threaten both timelines and budgets.
Kristina Crestin Reflects on Her Creative Challenges
Although Kristina Crestin’s involvement in “Camp Revamp” remains uncertain at this point in time; she has been actively sharing behind-the-scenes insights from her work on recent episodes of “Farmhouse Fixer.” One standout moment was her design contribution during an episode aired on May 14th titled “Island Lighthouse Renovation,” where she created an intricate gallery wall featuring no less than 25 framed art pieces.
Reflecting upon her experience via Instagram post dated May 15th; Crestin admitted that executing such grand ideas often comes with unforeseen challenges:
“So I sort of kicked myself when I came up with grand idea for gallery wall… Sometimes you need careful consideration before saying ‘wouldn’t it be nice,’” she wrote candidly before adding how complex putting together such elaborate displays can become once reality sets in!
To bring her vision into fruition successfully within tight deadlines required additional hands-on-deck; hence Jami Renae Morales joined forces alongside Crestin specifically tasked finding copyright-free artwork matching desired aesthetic styles—a collaboration proving essential given scale involved completing project efficiently yet effectively!
