HGTV Unveils the Future of Farmhouse Fixer: Will Season 3 Happen

Jonathan Knight, once a heartthrob from the iconic boy band New Kids on the Block, is back for an exhilarating third season of *Farmhouse Fixer*. This season, premiering on HGTV on Tuesday, April 23rd at 9:00 pm, sees Knight continuing his passionate mission to restore and preserve the timeless beauty of historic New England farmhouses.

Joined by his trusted partner in design, Kristina Crestin, Knight embarks on a new series of ambitious renovations across eight engaging episodes. The duo takes viewers along as they breathe new life into a variety of unique properties—from an isolated lightkeeper’s residence perched on a remote island to an old clam shack brimming with rustic charm. Each episode promises to showcase their expertise as they tackle homes that have stood for centuries—some dating back 200-300 years.

One particularly intriguing project this season involves revisiting the storied John Proctor house—a home steeped in history due to its ties to the infamous Salem Witch Trials. Working closely with the current owners, Jonathan and Kristina face significant challenges including water damage and black mold that threaten this First Period home built in 1638. Despite these obstacles, they devise a plan not only to restore but also enhance this national treasure by reviving its original tavern atmosphere while ensuring it remains preserved for future generations.

### What Is *Farmhouse Fixer*?

*Farmhouse Fixer* is more than just another renovation show; it’s a tribute to preserving history through thoughtful restoration. As Kristina Crestin eloquently puts it: “An ancient New England farmhouse embodies a lifestyle,” while Jonathan adds that such heritage is indeed worth saving. Together, they masterfully blend historical authenticity with modern-day comforts tailored specifically for their clients’ needs.

The show delves deep into the nostalgia surrounding New England’s cherished farmhouses—each one telling its own story through timeworn walls and weathered beams. With Jonathan’s deep-rooted passion for old homes and Kristina’s creative vision leading each project forward, *Farmhouse Fixer* ensures these architectural gems continue shining brightly well into the future.

Jonathan’s love affair with home renovation runs deep within his family lineage—his grandfather was involved in construction work alongside both his father and uncle who were also skilled craftsmen themselves! Growing up surrounded by tools & timber naturally led him down this path where he became known among relatives as “the go-to handyman.” After stepping away from music following NKOTB’s hiatus back in ’94’, he found himself flipping houses around Boston before eventually returning full circle when NKOTB reunited again later down line during ’07’. Balancing between two worlds ever since has allowed him ample opportunity indulge both passions simultaneously!
