Jenny Marrs shared heartbreaking news this week, revealing that her family has suffered yet another loss.
In an emotional Instagram post on Tuesday, November 4, Jenny announced that her beloved grandmother passed away the night before. “I can only imagine the joyful reunion that took place last night,” she wrote tenderly. “Nana and Papa were apart for far too long, but she stayed behind, devoted to their love, and cared for all of us. Now, those years of separation must feel like only a blink as they’re finally together for eternity.”

Jenny accompanied her message with touching photos of herself, her husband Dave, and their children alongside her grandmother throughout the years. She described her Nana as a woman full of warmth, laughter, and grace — “a southern belle who was strong, spirited, and stunning until her final breath.”
“She was larger than life,” Jenny continued. “The world seemed to revolve around her, like the sun. Everyone — even my childhood friends — wanted to be near her. It still doesn’t feel real that she’s gone. I just want to call her and say, ‘I love you more,’ so I can hear her answer, ‘Not possible, I love you the mostest.’”
Closing her tribute with a passage from the Bible, Jenny wrote, “Holding on to the promise that one day ‘there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain’ (Revelation 21:3), because right now, the sorrow feels immense. I’ll love you more forever, Nana. Rest easy — and thank you for giving Donna that big hug for me.”
Fans quickly filled the comment section with heartfelt messages of love and support for Jenny Marrs and her family. “So sorry. Sending love and prayers,” one follower wrote, while another added, “Gosh, friend, so much loss ❤️.”
Many expressed how deeply Nana’s legacy touched their hearts. “What a beautiful legacy she leaves in all of you,” one person commented. “Praying for His peace and comfort for each of you as you miss and remember your Nana. 🙏🏻❤️” Another added, “Our sympathies go out to you all! Love and hugs during this difficult time. So glad she’s reunited with the love of her life. ❤️🙏”
The next day, on Wednesday, November 5, Jenny honored her grandparents by sharing a nostalgic photo of them standing beside a car, simply captioned, “Nana & Papa🤍.”
This latest loss comes after a year of heartbreaking farewells for the Marrs family. In July, Jenny revealed that their family dog, Dolly, had passed away after 18 loving years. “We will love and miss you always, Dolly-Sue,” she wrote in her tribute. “Eighteen years earthside wasn’t enough. Until we meet again, my girl.”
Just two months later, in September, Jenny and Dave faced even more sorrow as they mourned the deaths of a close family friend named Jill and Dave’s mother, Donna. Sharing a touching montage of his mom, Dave wrote, “Mom, you have fought the good fight. Rest and know you have a family, friends, and a son that dearly miss you. I love you! I know you’ll never stop watching over us.”
Jenny added her own emotional words in the comments, writing, “She was the brightest light. Our world here will never be the same. I’m so thankful for the promise of Eternity. 💔♥️.”
