Dave and Jenny Marrs are heartbroken as they say goodbye to a cherished member of their family—one of their beloved dogs, who passed away at the incredible age of 18. In a tearful tribute shared online, Jenny wrote, “She fought so hard for so long. 18 years old and spunky until the very end.”

The emotional photos showed their family gathered around their aging dog in her final moments, holding her close and comforting her with love. Jenny ended the tribute with a tender image—imagining Mr. Bob, their previously departed pup, “waiting for her with a biscuit.”
This sorrowful goodbye brought back memories of another emotional time for the Marrs family—when their dog Jack went missing. Though he wasn’t gone forever, the two days he was lost brought significant stress and fear.

Jenny previously opened up about the panic and helplessness they felt, calling it one of the most emotional moments their family had endured. Thankfully, Jack was found safe, and that experience only deepened their appreciation for the animals they love like family.

Though the Marrs family is known for their stunning renovations on HGTV’s Fixer to Fabulous, fans also know them for their deeply rooted values—especially their love for animals. Their Bentonville, Arkansas homestead, known as The Berry Farm, is much more than just a working farm. It’s a place of purpose, healing, and compassion.
The family’s first farm animal, a bottle-fed lamb named Trixie, opened the door to what is now a diverse and love-filled animal rescue haven. Their current animal family includes over two dozen creatures, from sheep and cows to chickens, bunnies, and rescue cats. Their Great Pyrenees dogs, Jack and Belle, have become guardians of the flock. Jack, who once went missing and caused great distress to the entire family, was thankfully found safe after two nerve-wracking days.
Among their more unique residents are a mini-donkey, an alpaca, and a llama—Larry, who sadly passed away in 2022. Most recently, they welcomed Minnie, a rescue cow that was rejected by another farm but quickly found a place in their hearts.
Through joy and heartbreak, the Marrs family continues to embrace farm life with open hearts. Whether it’s welcoming a new lamb or saying goodbye to a loyal dog, their home remains filled with love, faith, and the unspoken bond shared between humans and animals. As they mourn this latest loss, their fans grieve with them—reminded once again of the bittersweet beauty of a life surrounded by creatures who love unconditionally.
