Bargain Block Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas celebrates a new Milestone. Congratulations.

HGTV recently brought back two of its fan-favorite shows, *Unsellable Houses* and *Bargain Block*, on Wednesday, September 4, and the network couldn’t have asked for a better premiere night. According to a September 9 press release from Warner Bros.

Discovery, the two shows were a massive ratings success. *Unsellable Houses*, featuring dynamic sister duo Lyndsay Lamb and Leslie Davis, drew in over 2 million viewers, while Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas’s *Bargain Block* followed with an impressive 2.4 million viewers, marking the highest-rated Wednesday night for HGTV in nearly two years.

Both Bynum and Thomas took to Instagram on September 9 to share their excitement. Thomas posted, “Thanks for tuning in y’all! This was just a warm-up. Much better episodes this season to come, and of course NOLA 😍 😍,” teasing the new spin-off series, *Bargain Block: New Orleans*. Meanwhile, Bynum kept it simple, sharing the press release with a string of heart emojis, “🥰 🥰 🥰 🥰 🥰 🥰 🥰.”

High Noon Entertainment, the production company behind both shows, also celebrated the milestone on Instagram, thanking their dedicated audience for making it such a successful night.

Adding to the excitement, HGTV has announced the highly anticipated *Bargain Block: New Orleans*, which will feature Bynum and Thomas revitalizing a block of rundown homes in the heart of The Big Easy. The five-episode mini-series will be seamlessly integrated into the current 10-episode season of *Bargain Block*, giving fans a full 15 weeks of new content from the beloved Detroit-based renovation duo.

The spin-off promises not only incredible home makeovers but also a deep dive into New Orleans’ vibrant culture. Bynum and Thomas will be dancing in a Mardi Gras parade, enjoying a crawfish boil, and participating in other local traditions while working their renovation magic.

They’ll also rely on the expertise of their trusted realtor and friend, Shea Whitfield, as they tackle this new project in a city known for its charm and history.

With such a successful start to the season, and the addition of the New Orleans episodes, *Bargain Block* continues to win over fans with its unique approach to home renovation and the unmistakable chemistry between Bynum and Thomas.

Their playful banter, genuine passion for design, and connection with local communities have cemented their place as HGTV favorites.

Bargain Block Cute Funny Moments

In a recent episode, Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas shared some heartwarming and hilarious moments that fans couldn’t get enough of. I had the pleasure of meeting them last year at a local event, and I can confirm—they’re just as funny in person as they are on screen.

At the event, I couldn’t resist bringing up the kitchen where Keith covered the cabinets in 1x1s, which sparked quite the debate online.

Keith humorously defended his design choice, joking, “I’ve never seen so many people get so out of sorts about dust.” It led to a fun conversation about cleaning even when something doesn’t look dirty, with Evan rolling his eyes and being both supportive and entertained by Keith’s defense.

Hosts Keith Bynum, Evan Thomas and Shea Hicks-Whitfield pose for a group shot inside of the Casino Royale/ 16135 Indiana house, as seen on Bargain Block, Season 4.

Their banter was so natural and genuine, and the experience left such a positive impression. Having met other celebrities before, I can honestly say these two are the real deal—what you see on TV is exactly how they are in person.

This recent episode showcased even more of their charm, from the plaster repair scene to Keith’s grandmother’s unforgettable comment. The playful teasing continued throughout, like when Keith cracked a joke about needing a “tit job,” which had everyone laughing.

Their production team clearly knows how to capture all of their unscripted moments, making the episodes even more fun to watch. Fans, like myself, agree that the duo’s personality and humor are what make the show so special.
