“Iron Resurrection” star Amanda Martin appeals for the rehabilitation of a pit bull dog that was discovered by her neighbor’s boss on Thursday.
The 49-year-old has been involved in a dog rescue mission for a long time. She is passionate about understanding dog behaviors and aiding owners to work through problems with their canines
Why Is Amanda Martin Appealing For Help?
On 13 July 2023, on Instagram, Amanda Martin posted a few pictures of a pitbull dog that her neighbor’s employer had found chained to a tree between Kyle and Wimberley, the cities of Texas. It’s heartbreaking that the canine was left at 102 degrees.
Martin expressed her dissatisfaction towards people who are mistreating such innocent dogs, as well as, she requested her fans and rescue community to help foster the fur baby.
Her post read: “Dog community we need your help. Our neighbor’s boss found this sweet boy tied to a tree between Kyle and Wimberley today. It’s 102 degrees today. WTF is wrong with people?!? He has been kid tested and did great. Hasn’t been dog or cat tested (I have literally had him for 15 minutes.)”
According to the TV star, the dog is pretty young and certainly underweight, approximately about 40-ish Ibs. She shared that the boy has passed the kid test.
Further, Amanda updated that the pup isn’t chipped, can fetch, and is potty trained. She estimated him to be about 9 months old.
She stated, “He’s a sweet boy who needs a loving home.” So, anyone who can foster or adopt the puppy can contact Martin on her Instagram handle.
Her contribution to dog rescue
Martin is an advocate for pit bulls and has saved multiple helpless puppies. She has been helping abused, wounded, and abandoned at-risk pit bulls through her work in collaboration with the nonprofit organization “So Cal Pit Bull Rescue.”
She has been effectively using Instagram to carry out pitbull dog rescue operations. In June, she helped in the adoption of a pup named Hugger who was rescued from the streets of East Austin.
Updating on Hugger’s adoption, she wrote on IG, “Little mama has been adopted!!!! She was delivered to her new family last night. She has 5 acres to run and play and her new mom is a behavioral science major for animals. We are soooooooo happy for her.”
